Guildies, normally I was ask for the opinion of guildies. Unfortunately, I have reached a point where I am tired of the debate of DKP or spots in a ZG/MC raids.
This I have taken it upon myself to ammend the guild rules. Being a member of High Council is now a privilege that can be taken away at any time (e.g. gkick).
My tolerance for arguing over who should be invited to raids or who can bid on items has been pushed over the edge. The greediness and selfishness is not healthy for the guild.
When guildies sign up for a raid, it doesnt guarantee them a spot. But signing up is required to see if we have the right classes to fill a raid for success. We have stated on multiple occasions that we will take the classes and people that will ensure the success of the raid (see the guild rules again). For example, a raid leader would never setup a raid with a lack of a healing. Yes this means we will hold a spot for a healer that we know is coming. For healers that do not tell us they are coming/late, we will not hold a spot. Any guildie that doesnt come to a raid prepared risks being drop from a ZG/MC raid
I will not standby any more and have a guildie question my judgement or integrity. Call me a liar and your privilege in High Council will be revoked without notice or warning.
I have done enough for this guild to at least earn the respect and trust that I am doing the right thing. I dare any guildie to compare.
I have also made a personal decision to play less often than before so you must rely on the officers for your questions/complaints.
I am sorry if some guildies dont like this response. But go find another guild that will put up with your whining/complaining.
I am still hopeful the majority of guildes will find this acceptable so that we can just focus on playing the game in a fun/safe/clean environment.
